After a disastrous defeat in a game of capture the flag, Shia LaBeouf decided to put an ocean in between him and /pol/ not realizing that /pol/ is everywhere.
Following that incident, LaBeouf announced this week that he would move the anti-Trump art project to the UK.
“Events have shown that America is simply not safe enough for this artwork to exist,” LaBeouf, Ronkko and Turner wrote in a statement on the FACT website. “We are proud to be continuing the project at FACT, an arts centre at the heart of the community.”
The flag moved to the top of the Foundation for Art and Creative Technology in Liverpool. It was put up yesterday.
In a statement on its Twitter page, FACT said it had removed the installation — which consisted of a flag with the phrase “He Will Not Divide Us” printed on it — from its rooftop due to “dangerous, illegal trespassing.”
/pol/ has saved the British taxpayers money.
But you know what? Shia really has proved something. He won’t divide us. He can’t even divide us with an ocean. You are forever united to the rest of humanity, Shia, especially the parts you’re trying to get away from. This is what you asked for. You can’t be divided.
